I don't think we ever anticipated a Christmas more! Seeing her beautiful face on the computer screen brought tears and cheers of delight. She looked radiant with her missionary tag shining brightly on our screen. Hearing her speak English with a hint of Nicaraguan accent was so endearing. The kids performed Christmas songs as we all watched tears roll down her sweet face. They later convinced her to sing for us, so she graced us with the 1st verse of Silent Night in Spanish which had us all bawling. How we miss her angel voice! Our time flew much too quickly and before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye. "Mother's Day will be here before you know it",we all shouted. One more phone call to go and then come fall then she'll be home! Here are a few pics she sent in December. I doubt she'll ever forget the time she made a Christmas tree out of duct tape in Nicaragua.
